You Have to Take Care of Yourself with Proper Exercise, Excellent Nutrition, and Good Medical Care
Turning It Around, Exercising, Anti-Oxidants and More
As a preliminary effort, I will just put up some recommendations, and later add more details, with scientific references to prove my points and demonstrate that I'm not just making this up. For now, I recommend at most Vitamin C 500 mg/day, Vitamin E 200 IU (international units), and grape seed extract (at least 30mg/d). There was just a recent study on cardiac disease that showed 500mg of Vit C per day significantly reduced the incidence of deaths from MI's (heart attacks). These three ingredients seem to act in a synergistic method as follows: Grape seed extract (or the more expensive Pycnogenol with the same ingredients) is 50 times more active than Vitamin E, and thus catches the "free radicals" which cause much cellular damage leading to major diseases like cancer and atherosclerosis (hardening of the blood vessels). This then gets reduced by (and hands on the free radicals to) Vitamin E. Then Vitamin E passes on the free radicals to Vitamin C which then takes them out in the urine and removes them from the body. Thus the three together help flush the body of some of the most harmful reactive chemicals produced in the body.
In addition to these, there are hundreds of phytochemicals, phytonutrients, and antioxidants found in vegetables. The best way to get thousands of these important nutrients into your body is to eat mostly vegetables, fruits, nuts, seeds, and legumes. In particular, eat as much of the colorful vegetables as you can. (It seems God marked the healthiest vegetables with bright colors to attract our attention, so we'd eat more of them!) Look especially for: To read about how to eat the most nearly perfect diet that is yet known to man, you should read the book: Eat To Live. I have no financial or other interest in this book, it is simply the best one out there, and I highly recommend it. To learn more, visit this website: Dr Fuhrman.
